ABOUT US
Cerba Lancet Zambia is a private pathology laboratory offering quality controlled pathology testing and reporting services. We have been established, registered and practicing in Zambia since December 2004. We have expanded our business to reach more of the community by opening collection depots and laboratories outside of Lusaka.
We offer 24/7 laboratory services at our Lusaka Main Laboratory, a dedicated client services team to ensure client queries are addressed, a courier service to collect samples from designated Health Facilities and onsite sample collection from client premises if requested.
We provide in-country testing for: Haematology, Immunology, Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Coagulation, Cardiac markers and Covid 19. We refer Cytology and Histology testing to our partner laboratory located in South Africa with results communicated back within a timely manner.
We are accredited by Health Processional Council of Zambia (HPCZ) and African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM). Additionally, we are accredited by NHIMA at our Choma Depot and Lusaka Main Laboratory.
ISO ACCREDITATION
In Zambia, Cerba Lancet Zambia is a member of the Cerba Lancet Africa Group. Our laboratory is well recognized for obtaining the ISO 15189:2012 accreditation and a solid market position.
With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and top-notch service delivery, it has earned a reputation as a household name in healthcare.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We are offering a wide range of safe and accessible payment options. We are making payment process simple, convenient, and secure for any patient.
Cash
Cash payment is acceptable across all our branches. Any patient can request for a test of their choice without necessarily providing a request form from a doctor.
Mobile Payment
Available across all our branches. You can pay with your phone quickly, easily, and safely. Mobile payments with Airtel and MTN provide cashless transactions which are more reliable.
Insurance
We accept insurance coverage after a patient has visited a doctor under insurance and can present us with a request form with underlying diagnosis. We will contact your health insurance company to obtain a pre-authorization number. We must obtain permission from your health insurance company and will contact you back before receiving any health care services at one of our laboratories.
