The new LIS (Laboratory Information System) is now in place. The first deployment has just taken place in Zambia. This is a major milestone, after a long journey.

The launch of the Cerba Lancet Mozambique Lab reflects our dedication to supporting the healthcare needs of the communities we serve and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the health sector in Tete Province. Every year on April 28th, we reflect on the foundations of a safe workplace. Over the years, our focus in the medical laboratory has been on biological, chemical, and physical hazards. This year, the International Labour Organization (ILO) invites us to look at a different, often invisible, dimension of safety: the psychosocial work environment. 

On February 18th, 2026, we conducted a Corporate Social Responsible activity outside Kigali, marking a significant step.Our team travelled to the Ubumwe Community Center in Rubavu District, Western Province, where we had the privilege of supporting a community that is committed to empowerment, inclusion, and sustainable development.

Cerba Lancet Rwanda was highlighted in The New Times article on the rise of specialised labs and molecular testing in Rwanda’s healthcare system. Since 2015, they've delivered over 1.4 million tests including oncology diagnostics, viral load, transplant monitoring, and antimicrobial resistance surveillance for around 480,000 patients, with ISO 15189 accreditation since 2020.
